First of all, I want to thank Becky for bringing my blog back. I lost it there for a while. I find myself losing things more and more. I’m even calling the dogs by names of dogs I had 20 years ago….yep, I’m losing it. Anyway the big news is that Jackson fractured his knee cap. He did a lot of kicks during Karate Wednesday night and was really complaining thursday morning. I made him go to school but by afternoon he had to come home. Well I couldn’t get him in until Friday and you should have seen that xray….it was so obvious. So now he’s in a brace that he can wear over his jeans and he’s out of Karate for a good long while. He’s heartbroken.

On another note, it’s the 23rd and am I ready for Thanksgiving??? NO! I always go through this. Last minute cleaning rushing, I noticed I need some new pans. Mine are so old. I may need to sneek out to Old Time Pottery to get me some…heheheehee. I did get my 21 lb turkey plus another smaller turkey and a turkey breast. Long story…..Can’t post it here because to many eyes read my blog. BUT needless to say it has something to do with MIL. So…we will have plenty of left overs and sammys. yum. The girls are really helping me out this year. They are each making a dish and MIL is making the salad. So that just leaves me with the main stuff which I can handle fine. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and is as thankful as I am for my family and friends.
